CHSLD Bussey
Where life means something...
Our history, our living environment, our values

The CHSLD Bussey nursing home is located on St. Joseph Boulevard along the Lachine Canal in a setting full of history and beautiful scenery. Our establishment is a long-term care facility, privately owned and government subsidized, which provides care and services since 1956 to customers who have loss of autonomy, physical or cognitive. Since December 1990, M Yvan Girard, M Benoit Quesnel and Mme Marie-Hélène Girard own the Center. From 2008 to 2010, the management of the CHSLD Bussey completed two (2) renovation projects funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Services. The capacity was reduced to 35 beds to accommodate the safety and the quality of life for residents of the facility.

Our living environment, our values
CHSLD Bussey is a setting which attaches great importance to offering goodwill and warmth while giving service and care to its residents. Bussey Center can characterize itself by its milieu de vie; its family-type setting, where the residents become part of Bussey’s extended family. Furthermore, the administration advocates that the staff offer personal care which is adapted to the needs of the residents. As a result, employees try to adapt their work to the tempo and way of life of the residents. So, respect, dignity, integrity, transparency, commitment and safety are the values which drive us and which consist in placing the residents at the heart of our priorities at the time of making any decisions so that every resident lives in an environment favoring the communication and the excellence.
